2016 Hilo Medical Center Exhibit

The Hilo Photography Club has been invited to show our member’s photographs at the Hilo Medical Center. This exhibit is an opportunity for HPC to do community service by sharing our beautiful nature photos with the many people who pass through our hospital’s lobby.

The exhibit is very popular with the public and the patients. Hilo Photography Club was invited to provide the images for the exhibit, however last year very few club members participated. It is a wonderful opportunity to help brighten the lobby and the exhibit also provides a pivotal point for rehab speech therapy. If participation remains low we will consider including other local photo clubs in the 2017 exhibit. It is very important to keep quality, fresh work in the exhibit from a variety of entrants.

The Hospital has purchased all the frames, mats and, glass to create a very fine exhibition!
We will need the following :
Donation of glass cleaner, museum putty, labels and the metal frame spikes to hold the images in place.
